Mr. Kim, Jae Hwan is currently the Director General for the Development Finance Bureau at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Before assuming his current position, he served as the Deputy Director General for  Innovative Growth for Policy Coordination Bureau at the Ministry from 2020 to 2023

Since joining the Ministry of Economy and Finance in 1994, Mr. Kim has served in various positions. From 2014 to 2015, he was the  Director of International Monetary System Division. From 2016 to 2017, he served as the Director of International Financial Cooperation Division.

From 2006 to 2010, he worked at the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development(IBRD) as an Advisor to the Executive Director. And from 2017 to 2020, he worked for the Asian Development Bank(ADB) as a  Principal Trust Fund Operation Specialist.

Mr. Kim holds a master’s degree in Law from the American University in Washington D.C and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Yonsei University in Korea
